ZLogger

Light, magical, easy to use Logger for your swift apps.

Usage

To print an Info ℹ️ use ZLogger.info(message:)
To print a Warning ⚠️ use ZLogger.warning(message:)
To print an Error ‼️ use ZLogger.error(message:)

ZLogger comes with 3 levels of log severity of type LogEvent : .info, .warning, .error

By default ZLogger will display every message but you can filter them using ZLogger.filter variable which requires a LogEvent enum

LogEvent.info will display every message
LogEvent.warning will display .error and .warning
LogEvent.error will only display .error

Example

The example application is the best way to see ZLogger in action. Simply open the ZLogger.xcodeproj and run the Example scheme.

Installation

CocoaPods

ZLogger is available through CocoaPods. To install it, simply add the following line to your Podfile:

Carthage

Carthage is a decentralized dependency manager that builds your dependencies and provides you with binary frameworks.

To integrate ZLogger into your Xcode project using Carthage, specify it in your Cartfile:

github "Soucolline/ZLogger"

Run carthage update to build the framework and drag the built ZLogger.framework into your Xcode project.

On your application targets’ “Build Phases” settings tab, click the “+” icon and choose “New Run Script Phase” and add the Framework path as mentioned in Carthage Getting started Step 4, 5 and 6

Swift Package Manager

To integrate using Apple's Swift Package Manager, add the following as a dependency to your Package.swift:

dependencies: [
    .package(url: "git@github.com:soucolline/ZLogger.git", from: "1.0.2")
]

Manually

If you prefer not to use any of the aforementioned dependency managers, you can integrate ZLogger into your project manually. Simply drag the Sources Folder into your Xcode project.
